Cooking with the Love of Christ (Pastry and Culinary Arts)

To create spaces for connection with God from early childhood, using cooking as a playful, creative, and spiritual tool. Each activity combines a biblical teaching with a sensory experience that strengthens the bond between the child, their environment, and the love of Christ.

To teach Christian values through practical and fun activities.
To promote love, gratitude, and joy as fruits of the Spirit in daily life.
To strengthen self-esteem, faith, and family bonds through cooking.

Each session includes:

Bible verse (children’s version)
3-minute reflection
Practical application of the value

Each session includes:

Pre-made base product
Individual decorating kit (creams, toppings, spatulas)
Card with the verse of the day
Initial prayer or brief reflection
“Little Chef with Purpose” Diploma

Logistics Requirements:

Clean space with tables and a sink nearby
Children accompanied by a teacher or monitor
Allergen information (nut-free)
All materials and food are provided by the program

Mini Cake of Love
- Activity: Decoration of a mini cake with colored frosting and gummies
- Value: Love
- Verse: “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:8)
- Reflection: Just as we decorate our cake with the same dedication and sweetness,
  we must embrace the life of our neighbor with love.
Gratitude Cookies
- Activity: Decoration of 2 large cookies (heart and star shape)
- Value: Gratitude
- Verse: “Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”
  (1 Thess. 5:18)
- Reflection: We thank Jesus for everything we have.
Joy Cupcakes
- Activity: Free decoration of cupcakes with creams, sprinkles, and toppings
- Value: Joy
- Verse: “Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah
  8:10)
- Reflection: To decorate with joy is to transmit the love of Jesus to the world.
Kindness Crêpes
- Activity: Filling and folding a mini crêpe with fruit and chocolate
- Value: Kindness
- Verse: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in
  Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32)
- Reflection: Just as we choose ingredients carefully, we must take care of our words and actions.
Faith Brownie
- Activity: Decorating a brownie with glaze and a sugar cross or sticker
- Value: Faith
- Verse: “For we live by faith, not by sight” (2 Cor. 5:7)
- Reflection: Although we don’t see the inside of the brownie, we trust that it is delicious.
  That is faith: trusting in what we do not see.
